HEARING DELAYED IN NEW ROCHELLE HS LIBRARIAN SEXTING CASE

Marisa Anton, a 33 year old New Rochelle High School librarian, is charged with trying tolure a 16 year old male student into a sexual tryst. Anton is accused of propositioning thestudent, sending him explicit material online and going to his house for an encounter, where shewas intercepted by police. She is charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor andremains free on $5,000 bail. If she goes to trial and is convicted of the Class D felony, shefaces a maximum sentence of up to seven years in prison and would be required to register as a sexoffender for a decade.
Patrick Clark, a 42 year old New Rochelle City School District electrician was charged withtrying to lure a 15 year old girl he met on the Internet into a sexual encounter. Clark, ofHighland Avenue in New Rochelle, pleaded not guilty.
Jose Martinez, an assistant principal of the Isaac Young Middle School, was charged in Marchwith engaging in sex acts with a 14 year old male student in his office over several months in2011. He was sentenced to 10 year's probation and was placed on the state's sex offenderregistry.
