Tsunis, a 63 year old bank executive, is facing a forcible touching chargernstemming from an encounter last week with a female security worker in the VIP section at a StonyrnBrook University basketball game. Tsunis, chairman of the board and chief executive of Gold CoastrnBank in Islandia, was charged with the misdemeanor sex offense which carries a penalty of up to 1rnyear in jail. The incident occurred on March 4 at the Island Federal Credit Union Arena on thernuniversity grounds in Stony Brook. The security worker, employed by a private contractor, reportedrnthat Tsunis had touched her in a sexual manner. Based on the woman’s description, Stony Brookrnpolice found Tsunis in VIP Suite 4. Closed circuit video footage of the security worker’srnencounter was downloaded by police and Tsunis was arrested.rn
