KIDDIE-PORN SWEEP NETS 41 IN JERSEY
Forty-one people in New Jersey have been charged over the last 10 days with sending child-rape photos and videos over the Internet. The arrests cap a two-month probed, dubbed Operation Silent Shield, in which a State Police technology-investigation unit combed the Internet for New Jerseyans distributing such images. State Attorney General Anne Milgram subpoenaed Facebook.com on Tuesday, seeking information on whether convicted New Jersey sex offenders have profiles there.
