Fernando Aguerro, a convicted sex offender, is accused of kidnapping an 8 year old girl on July22 from her home near Reno and sexually assaulting her. Aguerro had a romantic relationship withthe girl's mother. The girl celebrated her safe return home clutching a Teddy bear and wearingsunglasses as she flew from San Diego to Reno on Sunday, two days after she and Aguerro were foundstaying in a shelter in Ensenada. He remains in the custody of Mexican authorities, who have saidthey want to try him on rape and kidnapping charges.
