LOCKING UP SEX OFFENDERS
Republican attorney general candidate Jeanine Pirro told a Huntington business group yesterday that New York State must allow the confinement of sex offenders, even after their prison sentences are completed, if it is serious about curbing sex crimes. She repeated her support for a civil confinement law, which would allow the courts to order sex offenders sent to mental hospitals after their sentences.
