MAN ACCUSED OF USING ONLINE SERVICE TO ENTICE CHILD

Frederick Ungewitter, 43, was arrested by FBI agents and charged him with using the Internet to lure young girls for sex and with possession and distribution of child pornography.  He pleaded not guilty at a hearing and was released on $75,000 bond.  Hillsborough County sheriff's

detectives arrested Ungewitter in May of 1998 when he drove to Tampa to see a 14 year old girl he met on the Internet.  The girl was actually an undercover detective.  He was charged with using an online service to entice a child and possession of child pornography and was released the

following day on a $2,000 bond.
