MAN GETS 15 YEARS FOR TRYING TO LURE GIRL

Jeffrey Musumeci, a 53 year old Massapequa Park insurance broker, was convicted of trying to persuade a person who he thought was a 13 year old girl to pose for pornographic Polaroids and was sentenced yesterday to 15 years in federal prison.  Musumeci had actually been meeting with an undercover city cop playing the part of Lisa, whom he had been chatting with online.  On the day of the rendezvous, he was carrying a condom and the Polaroid camera.  Musumeci had sent the cop graphic photos of himself and described sex acts to her.  He was convicted in September of attempted child enticement and attempted production of child pornography.  He was also sentenced yesterday to 5 years of supervised release.
