Patrick O’Sullivan, a 23 year old East Moriches man, pleaded guilty to raping a housernsitter, then trying to hire a hit man to kill her to stop any testimony against him. rnO’Sullivan was sentenced to 25 years in prison on rape, criminal sexual act, burglary,rnsexual abuse and conspiracy.  He was masked and carried a loaded rifle on November 20, 2012,rnwhen he entered a Stony Brook house through an unlocked door.  He fired twice and bound hisrnvictim with duct tape.  While he was in county jail on the pending charges, he hired someonernto kill the victim and another person who he believed would testify against him. rn
