Steven Routley, a convicted sex offender, used a fake name to sing into the visitor's log atthe Philomath High School front office and appeared in an art class as a guest speaker.  Thevice principal said he also posed as a student's uncle.  Students said Routley told them hegave free art lessons and that he could arrange for them to be picked up and taken to hisstudio.  Routley served 13 years in prison in Michigan for sexual conduct with a child. He was released eight months ago.  Police said he did not break any laws by being at theschool because he is not on supervision.
