HICKSVILLE, NY — A Hicksville man was arrested Sunday after Nassau County police say he broke into a woman's home and forcibly touched her.
According to police, Carlos Villeda, 58, broke into the home of a 42-year-old woman on East Street in Hicksville at 9:10 p.m. Once inside, police say he began to forcibly grab and touch the woman.
The woman told him to leave, and he headed out the front door, police said. The woman closed and locked the door behind him and then called 911.
Police say Villeda fled the house, and was found by officers a short time later on Park avenue. He was arrested without incident.
Villeda is charged with forcible touching and second-degree burglary. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today in First District Court in Hempstead.
