Hundreds of angry spectators kicked over courtroom furniture and chanted death penalty when a Palestinian man was sentenced to life in prison Friday for raping a 5 year old girl at knife point.  Bilal Shuko, 22, a baker's assistant, told the court he abducted his victim on her way home from kindergarten Monday, took her to an abandoned building and raped her.  Human rights activists praised the military court for withstanding public pressure to execute Shuko.  However, they said military tribunals should be abolished because they violate defendants' right to due process and their sentences cannot be appealed.
