PALM BAY, Fla. — A man who recorded himself molesting children as young as 3 years old has been convicted of 21 counts of sex crimes against children.
Palm Bay police said they were shocked at the things 26-year old Jamal Davis did.
Lt. Mike Smith said when Davis encountered the mother of a little boy at an apartment complex, Davis asked her if he could have sex with her child.
The 21 counts come from Davis either directly molesting children or possessing illegal images of them.
"(Davis) not only admitted to soliciting that from (the mother), but that he had performed many acts before with children, and (he) provided us with video of those," Smith said. "He just provided that to us, and that was a huge part of his conviction."
The conviction was followed by an immediate sentence from Judge Charles Crawford of four life terms.
Davis went from arrest to conviction to prison sentence in fewer than six months.
