PARAMEDIC ARRESTED ON CHILD HARM CHARGES

Ronald Stein, a 45 year old FDNY paramedic, was arraigned on 11 counts related to actsharmful to a child.  A 14 year old 's tip to a national anti-abuse tip line last month led tothe arrest of Stein, who lives in Sea Cliff, on charges that include promoting a child's sexualperformance.  He is said to have propositioned the teen on the Internet to arrange anin-person liaison.  After the teen complained to the tip line, at the National Center forMissing & Exploited Children, police gathered enough information to search Stein's FranklinAvenue home with a warrant.
