PERV-INFO LAW
Governor George Pataki signed a revamped Megan's Law into effect on Friday in Rockville Centre. Under new provisions, the names and addresses of Level 2 offenders now will be posted on the Web site of the state Criminal Justice Services division. The old law required that information only on those deemed a high risk (level 3) be included on the site.
