PERV PRIEST PROBATION

PFMLIT CLERGY, General, SENTENCING, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

Rev. Albert Liberatore, a 41 year old catholic priest, was sentenced to 10 years' probation yesterday for attempting to sexually abuse a former altar boy on a 2002 trip to Greenwich Village.  The sentence requires him to avoid all unsupervised contact with minors for the next decade and to report to authorities regularly as a sex offender.
