PERV WHO PREYED ON LITTLE BOYS WILL GET 15 YEARS

Pedro Torres, a 36 year old man who cops say is the most persistent pedophile in memory, a super predator so obsessed with stalking teen boys that he did virtually nothing else, has been arrested.  He would surf the Internet day and night, combing chat rooms to find underage victims, then driving to their home states and coercing them into having sex with him.  He logged 862 chats with potential victims and likely hooked up with about a dozen kids in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts and Georgia.  The youngest boy was just 9 years old.  Torres was arrested in January after being spotted straddling a clothed 14 year old on a dead end street in Queens.  His mother saw him with at least five different boys in their home.  She kicked him out of the house in the Lillian Wald Houses on East Sixth Street because she got tired of finding him in the house with boys.

Torres pleaded guilty in Manhattan yesterday.  He was promised 15 years in prison and will be sentenced on September 12.
