POLICE HUNT SEX OFFENDER OVER MURDER OF PENSIONER

Three police forces are hunting serial sex attacker Graeme Jarman, 47, in connection withthe murder of a pensioner battered to death in her own home.  Jarman went missing from hishome shortly before 77 year old Judith Richardson was found dead on August 19.  Detectivessaid Jarman is considered a danger to the public and was a suspect in the murderinvestigation.  It was confirmed that Jarman is a registered sex offender with a previoushistory of violence.  Police found a hammer in a plastic bag in the street near Richardson'shome and have confirmed that was the murder weapon.  He is described as heavily built, ofaverage height, clean shaven, with short dark hair.  An image released showed him inStockton-on-Tees town centre on Friday morning with a shaved head and wearing blue jeans, a lightblue polo shirt with dark cuffs and collar and carrying a dark jacket.
