PORN CHARGES FOR BUS DRIVER (Cops: Photos of naked children on his computer)

Jeffrey Roter, a 35 year old school bus driver from Kings Park, was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography.  After receiving a complaint that Roter, of 1 Ellen Place, posted pornographic pictures of children on a Yahoo group online, detective from the computer crimes section began an investigation.

Suffolk detectives obtained a search warrant and found numerous pictures of naked young girls on his computer.  Roter works for Huntington Coach and drives primarily for the Harborfields School District.  He pleaded not guilty to charges of promoting a sexual performance of a child.  A judge ordered him held at the county jail in Riverhead in lieu of $30,000 bond.  He faces up to 11 years in prison on both charges if convicted.
