QUESTIONS SWIRL AS MISSING WOMAN RETURNS AFTER 10 YEARS

The decade long disappearance of a woman who resurfaced this week after running away as a 14 year old has baffled cops and neighbors in her western Pennsylvania town.  For ten years, Tanya Nicole Kach says she was told her parents didn't want her, she was stupid and no one cared about her but Thomas Hose, the 48 year old middle school janitor keeping her in his home.  It took her a decade to build the confidence to come forward, but on Wednesday, she finally learned the truth as she hugged her father, Jerry Kach, in a tearful reunion.  Hose was being held for alleged sexual acts with a minor, but no criminal charges related to kidnapping have been filed.  Police contend that Kach ran off with Hose after skipping class in eighth grade, but that for the next six years Hose held Kach captive in the house he shared with his parents and son.  She allegedly had to use a bucket as a toilet and remain hidden from view.
