RETIRED ARMY MAJOR PLEADS GUILTY TO ATTEMPTED MOLESTATION
John W. Davis, 44, a retired Army major, pleaded guilty to attempted child molestation. Under a plea bargain, he will be sentenced to up to five years' probation. According to the Associated Press, he was caught in an Internet sting when a police officer posed as a mother who told him that he could have sex with her 12 and 14 year old daughters. He was released on his own recognizance and sentencing is scheduled for August 1st.
