RICHLAND PD ARRESTS 2 MEN, INCLUDING SEX OFFENDER, FOR “NUMEROUS” ALLEGED CHILD SEX CRIMES

RICHLAND, Wash. -- Richland police said they've arrested two middle-aged men for numerous child sex crimes stemming from an investigation that started in October 2018.
Police said they arrested Matthew Lowe and Russell Meyer, both 44, after reviewing nearly 45 terabytes of digital evidence over the past year.
Meyer is a registered level 2 sex offender who was convicted of second-degree extortion with sexual motivation in 2016.
Lowe hs facing seven separate counts, including two counts of second-degree rape of a child, two counts of third-degree rape of a child, sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of child pornography and dealing child pornography.
Meyers is facing two counts of second-degree rape of a child and two counts of possession of child pornography.
RPD arrested both men on warrants after presenting the findings of their investigation to the Benton County Prosecutor's Office.
