Herman Robinson, a 39 year old New York man, has been charged with raping a girl startingrnwhen she was 11 and killing the newborn he fathered with her four years ago.  He was indictedrnon charges that include murder and predatory sexual assault.  Officials say Robinson raped therngirl beginning in 2006 and continued the sexual abuse until he was arrested last December.  InrnMarch 2010, he helped the girl deliver their baby at his residence, then killed the infant andrndisposed of the body.rn
Robinson was sentenced to 100 years to life in prison.  He was convicted in April ofrnsecond-degree murder, predatory sexual assault against a child and six other counts. rn
