ROBINSON SENTENCED TO 100 YEARS FOR RAPE, BABY MURDER

Herman Robinson, a 39 year old New York man, has been charged with raping a girl startingwhen she was 11 and killing the newborn he fathered with her four years ago. He was indictedon charges that include murder and predatory sexual assault. Officials say Robinson raped thegirl beginning in 2006 and continued the sexual abuse until he was arrested last December. InMarch 2010, he helped the girl deliver their baby at his residence, then killed the infant anddisposed of the body.
Robinson was sentenced to 100 years to life in prison. He was convicted in April ofsecond-degree murder, predatory sexual assault against a child and six other counts.
