PFMLIT CLERGY, General, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

Rudy Giuliani plans to keep Msgr. Alan Placa, a priest suspended by the church in a child sex scandal, on his payroll.  Giuliani's show of loyalty to his childhood friend came in the face of a call from the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests for him to fire Placa from his security consulting business.  Placa has denied allegations in a 2003 Suffolk County grand jury report that detailed abuses by priests in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
