SEVEN PRIESTS DEFROCKED
The Archdiocese of Boston said yesterday it had defrocked seven priests accused of molesting children. The seven included the Rev. Monsignor Frederick Ryan, a former vice chancellor of the archdiocese accused of abusing two teenage boys and photographing them naked about 25 years ago in his quarters at the archdiocese's chancery.
