SEX ABUSE CASE AGAINST COMMACK TEACHER GOES TO JURY

A Riverhead jury began deliberations Thursday in the sexual abuse trial of Marc Pipitone, a33 year old Commack man charged with having improper physical contact with two brothers, ages 7 and5, who were in his care.  He was also charged with threatening the boys and their family ine-mails in the summer of 2007.  Pipitone worked as an respite care aide caring for the boys intheir home.  He is also charged with six counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts ofendangering the welfare of a child and one count of second-degree harassment.  He faces up to42 years in prison.
