SEX CHARGES FOR GLENDALE MAN

Walter Butscher, a 37 year old Glendale man, was arrested February 18 because he e-mailed lewd photos to an undercover officer he thought was a 15 year old boy and arranged through the Internet to meet with him to have sex.  Butscher, of 89-05 75th Avenue, a subway car inspector for more than 9 years, was charged with two counts of first degree attempted disseminating indecent material to a minor and one count of third degree attempted criminal sexual act.  He was arraigned and held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
