SEX-FLING STUDENT GETS 375G

A Westchester federal jury has awarded $375,000 to a former high-school basketball star who claimed his civil rights were violated when Felicita DeJesus, a school secretary, carried on a two year affair with him, starting when he was 15 years old.   The jury said the Ossining school district failed to properly supervise DeJesus.  But school officials were cleared of charges they knew about the affair with the victim and ignored it.

The victim, now 21, said the fallout from the affair caused emotional and psychological trauma from which he still suffers, and derailed a possible pro basketball career.
