According to Riverside police Detective Karla Beler, the alleged offenses occurred over aroughly 14-year span, beginning in 2003.

Beler declined to disclose how the children knew the suspect, or the circumstances behind thealleged abuse.

Due to Sanchez's personable nature, it is believed there could be other unreported victims, she said.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the police department's Sexual Assault Child Abuseunit at (951) 353-7125.

According to court records, Sanchez has a 2009 conviction for failure to maintain his sexoffender registration under Penal Code 290, which requires all registrants to keep law enforcementofficials informed of where they're living.

The California Department of Justice's Megan's Law website also shows that he was convicted in2003 of lewd acts on a child but evidently did not serve time in state prison. (California)
