SEX OFFENDER FACES NEW CHARGES (Upholstery shop owner who was convicted of sexually abusing girl and boy in 1998 now accused of abusing two teenage boys at store)

Alfred Balcerak, a 49 year old level two registered sex offender who was under probation,was charged yesterday with groping two teenage boys in the Bellmore upholstery store he opened justmonths ago. Balcerak, who lives at the store at 11 Pettit Place, pleaded not guilty to seconddegree sexual abuse, forcible touching and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor. He was ordered held on $250,000 bond, $100,000 cash bail at his arraignment. In 1998,Balcerak was sentenced to five years' probation after being convicted of sexual abuse against a 9year old girl and a 14 year old boy.
