SIX MONTHS IN JAIL FOR RAPE TEACH

PFMLIT General, SENTENCING, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST, TEACHERS SCHOOL STAFF

Timothy Lucey, a 35 year old high school teacher, had been arrested and was accused of raping a female student.  He was charged with felony third degree rape and jailed without bail.  He has been sentenced to six months in jail and 10 year's probation.  He was fired from his job as a substitute teacher at Poughkeepsie High School where the 15 year old victim attends classes.
