TEACH CHARGED IN CHILD SEX ATTACK

PFMLIT General, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST, TEACHERS SCHOOL STAFF

James Lang, a 30 year old third-grade teacher at a New Canaan school, has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor.  Lang, of Danbury, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.  He has been on paid leave from South Elementary since early last month, shortly after the New Canaan School Board learned of the complaint against him.
