TEACHER ARRESTED AGAIN ON SEX ABUSE CHARGES

Nicholas Panos, a 74 year old East Setauket piano teacher, is accused of allegedly touching atleast one young student inappropriately. He is accused of repeatedly making improper contact withan 11 year old girl. The suspected incidents occurred in the basement of the Three Village MusicShop, where Panos has rented space for 20 years. He is charged with second degree sexual assault, amisdemeanor, and was released on bail. Investigators ask anyone who might have been victimized byPanos to come forward and contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Panos, of 98 Soundview Drive, was arrested for a second time in three weeks on March 16 for thealleged sexual abuse of an 8 year old girl in the music shop. he was charged with first degreesexual abuse and taken to First District Court in Central Islip, where he was released without bailafter pleading not guilty.
