TEACHER JAILED IN LONG ISLAND SEX CASE
Erwin Faralan, a 34 year old former Longwood Senior High School math teacher, has been charged with engaging in sexual conduct with a 16 year old student. He is charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sex act. Under state law, a person is guilty of committing such a crime if over 21 and engages in oral or anal sexual conduct with someone under 17. The charge can also apply when the victim can't consent for reasons other than age. Police said anyone else who believes they were victimized should call the Special Victims Section at 631-852-6531.
