LEXINGTON,Ky. (AP) --- A Tennessee woman was indicted Monday on human trafficking charges after authorities accused her of coercing an 18-year-old into prostitution.

Savannah Elizabeth Gribanow, 26, was indicted in Fayette County, Kentucky, on charges of human trafficking, promoting human trafficking, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property worth more than $10,000, the Lexington Heral-Leader reported. Gribanow was arrested on Nov.25.

The victim told police that Gribanow held her against her will and forced her to travel to different hotels from Knoxville, Tennessee to Lexington “for the purpose of sex trafficking,” according to court records. The victim also said Gribanow would take her phone and earnings, using “financial and psychological manipulation” against her. Investigators said Gribanow would supply the victim with drugs to “keep her compliant.”

Elija S. Bowling, 19 was indicted on charges of promoting human trafficking and Jonathan Anthony Louis, 31, was indicted on charges of evidence tampering in connection with the case. Both were also indicted on charges of receiving stolen property.

According to court records, Gribanow traveled from Knoxville to Lexington in a stolen car with Louis and Bowling. Court records also indicate Gribanow attempted to ask someone to delete evidence of her crimes on Facebook Messenger.

All three are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday. It’s unclear whether any of the suspects have an attorney who could comment.
