James Terry Roach, 25, was executed January 10, 1986, for the rape and murder of a 14 year old girl and her 17 year old boyfriend in Columbia, South Carolina. The murders occurred in 1977, when Roach was 17.

Jay Pinkerton, Texas

Jay Pinkerton, 24, was executed May 15, 1986, after being convicted of the rape and murders of two Amarillo women in 1979 and 1980. He was 17 years old when he committed the crimes.

Johnny Garrett, Texas

Johnny Garrett, who raped and killed a 76 year old nun, is probably best known for his last statement before being executed February 11, 1992: I'd like to thank my family for loving me and taking care of me, he said. The rest of the world can kiss my ass.

Joseph Cannon, Texas

At the time of his execution at the age of 38, Joseph Cannon had been on death row for more than half his life. He had been sentenced to die for shooting and attempting to rape Anne Walsh, a 45 year old attorney and mother of eight in September 1977. The crime occurred in San Antonio.
