The suspension of Laurence E. Nelson, a 44 year old YMCA worker in the
state of Minnesota, started with an investigation by Ulster County
Sheriff's deputies.  The sheriff's Internet Crimes Against Children
Taskforce alerted cops in Minnesota after Nelson solicited sex from an
Ulster County deputy posing as a 14 year old girl in an online chat
room.  Nelson was charged with his state's equivalent of soliciting a
child for sexual conduct over the internet and was suspended from his
part-time job as an outreach worker for homeless youth.
