VERRAZANO TRAFFIC COP SNAGS ‘RAPIST’ OF GIRL

Joseph Flynn, a 24 year old Staten Island man, was arrested early yesterday after a routine traffic stop on the Verrazano Bridge revealed he was wanted in the rape of a 14 year old girl at an upstate camp in Ulster County.  After being pulled over for driving without an inspection sticker and not wearing a seatbelt, a computer check showed he had six suspensions on his state learner's permit, which prompted his immediate arrest.  While in custody, MTA police discovered that there was an outstanding arrest warrant for him in Ulster County on a charge of first-degree rape.
