(Survivor Advisory Board)

In November of 2021 Executive Director Laura Ahearn, Esq., LMSW, Executive Director of the Crime Victims Center, launched the state’s first Voices for Victims in the Criminal Justice System (CJS) Program and said, “The goal of the new Program is to advocate on behalf of victims and survivors of violent crime to ensure that voices of victims and their non-offending family members are heard, especially before reforms are made in the criminal justice system that affect them.”
