WOMAN SENTENCED FOR RAPING CUB SCOUT

PFMLIT BOY GIRL SCOUT LEADERS, General, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

Lori A. Bosworth, 38, a former Cub Scout leader pleaded guilty Tuesday to multiple count of statutory rape and sentenced to four years in prison for having sex with a 12-year-old boy in her troop.  Her husband, William Bosworth, 45, knew of the relationship and pleaded innocent in May to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and conspiracy to commit statutory rape.

Editors Note:  Often young boys are led to believe that having sexual relations with an older woman is a rite of passage when in fact it is sexual abuse, and a crime.
