ASSEMBLY PANEL OKS CHILD SEX ABUSE BILL

A bill extending the statute of limitations on lawsuits over future allegations of child sexabuse was approved yesterday by an Assembly committee. In an 18-1 vote, the Codes Committeesent the legislation sponsored by Assemblyman Vito Lopez (D-Brooklyn) to the Assembly floor for avote, which could occur in a few weeks.
