Seventeen years ago, a team of two priests and an attorney probed the first public cases of priest pedophiles in America and delivered a prophetic message to the nation's Roman Catholic prelates.  The team wrote in a 92 page report presented to the bishops that clergy sex abuse of children is the single most serious and far-reaching problem facing our church today.  But the bishops took no action.
