A judge sentenced a Kenton County man to 20 years in prison in what the lead prosecutor described as a “horrific” case of child pornography.

Kenton Circuit Judge Kate Molloy sentenced Emmanuel Curry, 21, to 20 years in prison for possessing child pornography.

Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Emily Arnzen said the details of the case are horrific and involved children between 2 and 4 years old.

Curry pleaded guilty in April to 69 counts of possession of child pornography and 1 count of tampering with physical evidence without the benefit of a plea agreement.

Taylor Schabusiness was in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing.

She faces one count each of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and third-degree sexual assault.

Shad Thyrion was found dismembered Feb. 22 in a Green Bay home.

According to a criminal complaint, Schabusiness told investigators she and the victim were using drugs, including meth, and engaging in sex when she strangled Thyrion.

She then dismembered his body and placed body parts in various locations in the home and a vehicle, the criminal complaint states.

A Vandalia man is charged with sodomy on an 11-year-old boy at a residence in Mexico in August of 2021.

According to court documents, 21-year-old Dakotah Schneider is charged with Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy after the August 8, 2021 incident.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A Delaware County man and woman have been charged with crimes related to child pornography and child sex assault, according to authorities.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer Wednesday said Gia Michelle Cubler, 20, of Woodlyn, and Matteo Thomas Arriaga, 20, of Ridley Park, have been charged with multiple felony counts for the production, distribution, and possession of child pornography, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault with a person less than ten years old, endangering the welfare of children,

LaDarius Alton Smith, 33, and Ulises Rene Garcia, 22, were each indicted Tuesday on two counts of sex trafficking of a child. Their attorneys did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

On April 12, agents with the North Texas Trafficking Task Force were notified by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services about a runaway juvenile. The 16-year-old girl was seen on a website that advertises commercial sex, according to court documents.
