CHINA EXECUTES KILLER WHO BURIED BOY ALIVE

Bu Xiaogang, 23, kidnapped five year old Han Dong in northern Shaanxi province and buried the boy alive in a coal mine after being discovered.  He was charged and convicted of kidnapping, not murder.  He was executed along with four other men as part of a nationwide campaign against an upsurge in violence against children.
