COMPUTER PORN BRINGS 39 CRIMINAL CHARGES
John Lee Schaefer, 50, is accused of 39 counts of possessing child pornography, carrying a possible prison term of more than 75 years. Schaefer, a former technical college employee, learned of an on-going investigation last July and quit his job at Fox Valley Technical College. Investigators at the state crime lab in Madison recently broke a security code on the man's desktop computer and discovered images of mostly juvenile males. He told a college vice president, They took my computer and they're going to find everything. The charges carry a possible maximum penalty of 78 years in prison and $390,000 in fines.
