GIRL’S SANTA LETTER LEADS TO MAN’S ARREST

Andres Enrique Cantu, a Texas man, has been arrested after a 9 year old girl wrote to SantaClaus asking that a relative stop touching her and her sister.  A criminal complaint says thegirl turned the letter in at Cesar Chavez Elementary School.  Authorities interviewed the girlafter a school counselor reported the letter.  Investigators believe the molestation occurredover a period of four years.  Cantu, from the town of Pharr, is charged with continuous sexualabuse of a young child and could face as many as 99 years in prison if convicted.
