Man charged for sexually assaulting at least 2 women in Bronx apartment: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's assistance to provide further information on a man who was arrested for various sex-related crimes in the Bronx over the weekend.

According to officials, 32-year-old Kemoy Royal sexually assaulted at least two women between June 14, and June 19, inside of his apartment on Pratt Avenue near Connor Street in Eastchester.

Royal was arrested at around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 19.

Police were alerted to an attempted rape of a 26-year-old woman at approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15.

Authorities were alerted to the second incident On Sunday, June 19, at approximately 6:20 a.m.

Royal was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of strangulation, criminal sex act, unlawful imprisonment, menacing, sexual abuse and criminal possession of a weapon.
