A depraved Queens man with a disturbing trove of child porn pleaded guilty on Thursday to the whopping 17,725 charges against him.
Vishal Lalbeharry, 30, of Jamaica, was busted in January for allegedly downloading thousands of sick images and videos of babies being sexually abused — also possessing 16 videos of himself having sex with a dog.
Lalbeharry pleaded guilty in Queens Supreme Court to promoting sexual performance by a child, possessing a sexual performance by a child and sexual misconduct.
He faces up to 2 years behind bars at his Dec. 11 sentencing and will need to register as a sex offender.
Investigators seized four laptop computers, five hard drives and four cell phones containing child pornography from Lalbeharry’s bedroom following a police investigation into IP addresses sharing child sexual abuse images.
Lalbeharry told police that no one else used his computer but claimed “while I was downloading regular porn, some images of child pornography were in the files,” Queens prosecutors said in January.
“I have seen this by mistake,” he added.
Late Queens DA Richard Brown described the images as disturbing and said they included babies being “penetrated” by adult men.
“The images accumulated by this defendant allegedly contained some of the most horrific ways imaginable to sexually abuse a child — even babies were defiled,” Brown said in a statement.
None of the children being abused were older than 10 years old, prosecutors said.
“I can not stress it enough, pictures and videos of children being sexually abused is, for all intents and purposes, crime scene images,” Brown said. “The children are real people and they must live with the scars on their bodies as well as in their memories forever.”
