The Movie ‘It Ends With Us’ Faces Criticism for Glamorizing Domestic Abuse

Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel It Ends With Us has been adapted into a star-studded film, starring the likes of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. But the much-talked-about film is facing criticism for appearing to glamorize its depiction of domestic abuse.

The film, which draws from Hoover’s own parents’ relationship, tells the story of florist Lily Bloom, who falls in love with a neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid.

New, happy photos of the doomed 9-year-old killed by his allegedly drugged-up mom after she caused a horrific wrong-way crash on Long Island belie a dark secret: she experienced “severe” domestic abuse, her former attorney claimed.

The images show Kerri Bedrick cuddling up to a much younger Eli with both beaming into the camera, while a second picture shows the chubby-cheeked child years ago with his father.

L.I. Man Gets 22 Years to Life for Fatally Stabbing Wife in Front of Teen Son 

A Long Island man who admitted stabbing his wife in front of their teenage son earlier this year has been sentenced to 22 years to life in prison, officials announced Thursday.

Ryszard Murawski of Lindenhurst is accused of stabbing Wioleta Murawski with a “large, serrated knife” on Jan. 3 and then fleeing the scene.

The brutal attack, which was captured on security camera video, was also witnessed by the couple’s 15-year-old
