COPS: EX-TEACHER HAD CHILD PORN ON COMPUTER

Michael Gallagher, a 32 year old former Commack school teacher, was arrested after child pornography was found on his home computer.  Gallagher, who was an English teacher at Commack High School until recently, was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge of possession of sexual performance by a child.  Authorities were alerted in February by AOL that Gallagher had sent child pornography over the Internet.  He was arraigned and was released on $25,000 bail pending a later court appearance.
